What is event technology?

Great question. Event technology is the broad industry term for any form of technology used in staging events of any size. It covers all audio-visual services required to stage an event, from pre-visualisation software through to the combination of audio, lighting and visual elements used to communicate information and enhance the event experience.

In layman’s terms, the lights, screens, cameras, microphones and sound systems—that’s us!

Of course! We’re here to help. There are no silly questions. If you need help getting the ball rolling, just call or email our friendly team. We’ll talk through your event, your vision and what you’re trying to achieve, then offer suggestions, outline options, and put together a clear, tailored quote.

For larger or more complex events, we recommend engaging an AV supplier three to six months in advance. AV is often one of the biggest logistical elements, so the more time we have, the better we can support your vision and fine-tune the details.

For smaller events, four to six weeks is usually enough. That said, it’s never too early to start the conversation—some events take years to plan and we’re happy to help at any stage.

We’d love to! Last-minute requests and curveballs are our specialty. If you need a fast solution, contact us today—we’ll do everything we can to make it happen.

In most cases, yes. Unless the venue has a strict “lock-out” policy, you are usually free to choose your own AV supplier. If you have a quote from the venue’s supplier, we’re happy to provide an alternative so you can compare. Get in touch for a free quote.

We love being part of South Australia’s vibrant community and sponsor a number of charity events each year. If you’re planning a not-for-profit event, get in touch—we’d love to chat about how we can help.

Absolutely. Give us a call, shoot us an email or pop into our purpose-built premises in Thebarton—we’d love to hear about your event and show you what we can do.

Yes, we do!

We provide services all over South Australia and are often travelling to regional towns to provide AV and staging services. If you’re planning a regional event, contact our friendly team—we can talk you through options and logistics and provide you with an obligation-free quote.

(Follow-up question… what is a dry hire?). A dry hire is hiring equipment without any technical support. We do dry hire a limited range from our inventory. If you are looking for a specific piece of equipment, reach out today and we’ll do our best to help.

Absolutely. Contact our friendly team to set up a site visit at your venue—we’d be more than happy to walk through your options and then provide an obligation-free quote.

There can be several reasons for this. AV companies may use different brands of equipment or different systems to achieve the same outcome. Some companies list every single item in their quotes, while others bundle gear to keep things simple. A reputable supplier will always be happy to talk you through a quote in detail. We’re always here to answer questions, explain equipment choices, and make sure you’re confident and comfortable from the first quote through to the event itself.
